Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 2 février 1816 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Green Buried 

James Green, of the parish of Chateau Riché, bateler, aged eighty three tree years, died, (on the road from that parish to this City), January the thirteenth, and was buried February the second in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen.

Noter la mention de lien de parenté pour deux des témoins, une  façon de faire trop rare dans les registres de l'état civil non catholiques et le délai de 20 jours entre la date du décès et celle de l'inhumation.
