Les registres de l'International Advent Church de Waterloo pour le 27 mai 1903 font état de l'acte suivant : 

«Glenna May daughter and issue of Daniel Nathaniel Gage, farmer, and Mary Ann Higgins his wife was born in the Township of Shefford County of Shefford, Province of Quebec on the twenty ninth day of  November in the year of Our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and ninety three (1893) and was registered on this the twenty seventh (27) day of May in the year one thousand nine hundred and three (1903) fy me the undersigned minister.
The parents here signing acknowled the foregoing record to be correct.

Noter l'important délai entre la date de naissance et celle de l'enregistrement de cette fille. Une situation qui se rencontre plus fréquemment dans les registres autres que catholiques.

«Died at Waterloo County of Shefford Province of Quebec on the Eleventh day of March in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and one Infant Daughter of Bert E. Phelps laborer of the aforesaid Town of Waterloo and Alice U. Boucher his wife, aged three hours And was buried on the twelfth day of the same month in the Protestant Cemetery Waterloo by me the undersigned Minister and in the presence of the subscribing witnesses Cause of death Premature Birth

     And was registrated on the twenty first day of June nineteen hundred. The parents here sign with the undersigned Minister acknowlegge the above record to be correct.

«Married. On this twenty third day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and five (1905) Dewey Elston Bullis, bachelor and farmer, son of William Joseph Bullis, farmer, and Jane C. Smith his wife, al of the Township of Shefford, County of Shefford and Province of Quebec.
    And Mary Janet Thompson, spinster daughter of Richworth Thompson, farmer and Martha Hill his wife now both deceased in and in their lifetime of the Township County and Province afore named.
     And while this is the parentage of the bride She is better known as Marion Elberta Beers, having been adopted in infancy by Richard Beers, stone mason and Martha S. Allard his wife all of the Town of Waterloo, County of Shefford, Province of Quebec.
    Were by Authority of license united in the bonds of Marriage...».

Des témoins non liés aux époux

Les registres de l'International Advent Church de Waterloo pour le 23 janvier 1904 font état de l'acte de mariage suivant:

«Married on this the twenty third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four (1904) Nathaniel Stone Parkes, bachelor and laborer, son of Sewell S. Parker farmer and Clarissa H Schoolcrath his wife all of the village of Eastman county of Brome, Province of Quebec And Edna Emma Louise Osgood spinster daughter of William Alfred Osgood deceased and Emma Louise Chapman his wife all of the town of Waterloo county of Shefford Province of Quebec were by virtue of license united in the bonds of mariage the rite being duly solemnized by me the undersigned Minister in the presence of the subscribing witnesses. The broom of age the bride a minor (mother's consent given) no opposition
The witnesses Maude M Chadsey and Ida A Tittemore are not related to either party. The Groom, Bride and witnesses here sign with me the officiating minister aknowledge the foregoing record to be correct

Un bel exemple d'un acte où aucun des témoins n'a de lien de parenté avec les époux. Une telle situation se rencontre assez fréquemment dans les registres de l'état civil autres que catholiques, ce qui présente une difficulté additionnelle pour l'identification correcte des personnes mentionnées dans un acte.

Les registres de l'International Advent Church de Waterloo pour le 20 janvier 1904 font état de 'acte de mariage suivant : 

«Married on this on the twenty third day of January in the Year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four (1904) Nathaniel Stone Parkes, bachelor and laborer, son of Sewell S.
