Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 9 septembre 1813 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Inconnu 

A man unknown supposed to have been an American prisoner of war, was founded drowned in the River St Lawrence September the seventh, and was buried September the ninth, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
