Un Irlandais nommé Fisher est inhumé à Québec

Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 10 juillet 1831 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Fisher Buried

* _____ Fisher late from Ireland, Aged twenty six years, died in the Emigrant Hospital on the eighth, and was buried on the tenth of July, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred & thirty one.
By Me ? ? Actg Chaplain
Present Sarah Bell John Rickaby».

Dans la marge, on peut lire l'annotation suivante :

«* could not obtain the Christian name from the Hospital».

Une identification sommaire et incomplète : le lot de plusieurs immigrants décédés dans la ville de Québec à cette époque alors que cette dernière était aux prises avec des épidémies de maladies contagieuses.
