«Mannan
Buried
John Mannan, from Upper
Canada, under sentence of a Court Martial for having deserted to the enemy from
the militia of that Province, aged about thirty years, died December the
eighteenth, and was buried December the twentieth, in the year of our Lord, one
thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
By me Father Jehosaphat Mountain
Officiating Minister at Quebec
Present William
? Capt 10th RtB Thos Manoon? private of the 10th RoB his mark +».
