Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 29 octobre 1824 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Morgan Buried

David Morgan, Tide Waiter of His Majesty's Customs in the Port of Quebec, aged forty years, died by the Visitation of God, to wit by an internal disease Coroner's warrant on the twenty ninth of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.
