Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 27 mai 1832 font état de l'acte se sépulture suivant :

«Hemming Buried

Eliza Sonah, wife of William Heming of the City of Quebec, steward of the Steamboat Voyageur, plying between Quebec and Montreal, aged twenty seven years, died on the twenty fourth and was buried on the twenty seventh of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
