Décédée sous les ruines d'une maison

Les registres de la Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral de Québec pour le 18 mai 1841 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Reed buried 

Ellen, wife of Robert Reed, of the City of Qubecc ^x "who on the seventeenth day of May instant was infortunately suffocated beneath the ruins of a House in Champlain street" was buried on the eighteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one.

Noter que cette femme n'est identifiée que sous son nom de femme mariée.
