Les registres de l'Abbott's Corner Baptist Church pour le 25 janvier 1902 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Burial

Luther Rominer Smith died on the twenty first day of January nineteen hundred and two at his Home at Pinnacle Parish of St. Armand East in the eighty ninth year of his age and was buried by me in the family cemetery on his farm on the twenty fifth day of the same month in the presence of the subscribing witnesses

Harvey W. Smith J.K. Smith Jr».

Noter que l'inhumation d'un corps dans un cimetière familial sur une ferme n'est pas chose courante chez les catholiques.
