Les registres de l'Abbott's Corner Baptist Church pour le 15 octobre 1901 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Burial

On the fifteenth day of October, A.D. nineteen hundred and one, Matthew Young died at Abbott's Corner in St. Armand East, County of Missisquoi, aged seventy five years, and was buried in the general cemetery at Abbott's Corner, on the seventeenth day of the same month in the presence of the subscribing witnesses.

L'emploi de l'expression «general cemetery» se comprend pour distinguer ce cimetière des cimetières familiaux ou privés qui sont davantage fréquents dans les communautés religieuses autres que catholiques.
