Les registres de la paroisse Saint-Patrick de Québec pour le 1^er janvier 1856 font état de l'acte de baptême suivant : 

«B. 3   Charlotte Sparks 

The first day of January one thousand eight hundred and fifty six, we, the undersigned priest, Chaplain of St Patrick's Church, have baptized Charlotte, born of the twenty fourth of October last, issued of the lawful marriage of Richard Sparks, warden of the Military Prison of this city and Ann O'Donnell of the Upper Town Quebec. Godfather, Michael Barrett, godmother Mary Barrett, who together with the father have signed with us.
