Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church pour le 9 septembre 1813 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :                

«Inconnu 

A man unknown, supposed to have been an American prisoner of war, was found drowned in the River St Lawrence September the seventh, and was buried September the ninth, in the year of our Lord one thousand eigth hundred and thirteen.
