Inhumé sur la ferme familiale

Les registres de l'Universalist Church de Derby Line et Rock Island pour le 15 juin 1907 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Burial of James K. Gilman June 15e 1897

Captain James K. Gilman of Point St. Charles, Montréal, Province of Québec, retired hotel-keeper, died on June thirteenth, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven, aged seventy eight years, seven months and fifteen days. And was buried in the family burying plot, on the Gilman farm, near Griffen, Province of Quebec, town of Stanstead, June fifteenth, one thousand nine hundred and seven in the presence of the subscribing witnesses.
