Des marques de personnes non signataires bien identifiées

Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 21 janvier 1796 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant :

«Quebec the twenty first Day of January One Thousand seven Hundred and ninety six, I baptized a female child by the Name of Mary, Daughter of James Pilkington private Soldier in the fourth on King's own Regiment, and of Elizabeth his lawful wife both living at Quebec. This child was born the seventh instant. The God Father was Joseph Pickering private in the same regiment, and Jane Barns living in Quebec was God Mother. In witness thereof I the Clergy, who performed the Office have signed with the rest.
